If I'm remembering correctly aircraft carriers and their aircraft and pilots are part of the marine corps ?
Also who are they comparing the US military to in this article ? Because this only tells me which branches hold what power compared to each other so what is the baseline for these evaluation ?
That said I expect most of the US army to instantly surrender if the lesbian recruitment videos are anything to go by.... Guess I should start learning Chinese
I believe it's the Navy. I know the Navy even has its own air bases for training and aircraft that they need that do not operate from carriers. I think almost all the branches operate fighter jets in some capacity, because who knows why.
Carriers are under the Navy. The Navy has also more aircraft than the airforce,
The US Air Force has the largest air force in the world.
The US Navy has the second largest air force in the world.
The US Army has the third largest air force in the world.
Eisenhower tried to warn us.
There's no way the USAF can be any "(very) weak" compared to anyone in the world, or maybe even the entire wold combined.
It must be internal standards like the fulfillment of latest goals.
Greatly appreciated
Wishful thinking.
So depending on who wrote this it's either a strong, efficient military.
Or a gaggle of lesbians and trannies with cardboard signs complaining about how oppressed they are by the enemy.
Paradropping leftists into enemy nations, truly terrifying.
Worked pretty well in Ukraine.
Aircraft carriers and their aircraft are navy. There may be a few marine aircraft on them but I'm not sure.
Amphibious landing craft have more marine aircraft and pilots though and could be mistaken for aircraft carriers.
