That’s nonsensical though, the politicians don’t profit off nuke usage, I could see massive funding into the military industrial complex to “counter” Russia, but I doubt we would ever use our nukes because there’s no profit incentive for it.
Russia's SSBN platforms were noted as disappearing from dock. It is the largest country in the world (hard to find all ICBM silos), with enough 2nd strike capability, which will definitely be maintained at the ready if they use nuke's on Ukraine.
