All the polyamorous relationships I see in clips usually involve several guys and one woman or a couple of women and several guys. I can't understand a guy that is ok with other guys having sex with the women you love, this applies to open relationships as well.
I understand the idea of sleeping around without an emotional implication but they claim love here. How is this a thing?
On a related note, women tend to be extremely jealous so how do mormons manage several wives without having them poison each other?

I strongly believe that poly people don't understand what love is. They experience a shallow form of it. Romantic love involves finite psychological/emotional resources. So when they say they love all of their partners, it's kind of like children playing house, except wretched instead of cute.

They don't find satisfaction with a single partner because they don't know the trials and rewards of a serious monogamous romance. They think that a shallow connection to another human being is sufficient because they aren't even really concerned with a lifelong partnership; if one person dies or leaves, it's like a pet dog dying or running away, kind of sad for a few months but then you get a new dog.
tl;dr: romantic love is defined by willing exclusivity and cannot exist without monogamy - other forms of love exist, but they are not romantic love.

I could potentially accept an argument that romantic love is not worth pursuing, but not an argument that it doesn't exist. I can even accept your premise that it's just a bunch of brain chemical drug effects caused by evolutionary psychology, but that doesn't make it stop resulting in a distinct cognitive state (a feeling, if you will). Unless you're suggesting that such states should all be stripped of their labels and we disregard all feelings as "lizard brain" trickery.
