The thing that really pisses me off is that there is no geographical boundaries to this shit...
It's the internet. We live in countries that will never ban Tiktok (just look at what happened when Trump tried), and so I can be living on completely the other side of the world, and yet know people (girls, generally) influenced by this "Mental Illness Factory" just as any of you in the UK, North America or Continental Europe may do...
China knows this, of course. No wonder they pump funding into this fucking brainwashing tool...
That’s why all the talk of China as our greatest enemy is so stupid. All China has to do is hold up a mirror. We’re the ones actively destroying our country.
Unfortunately the internet is just a large vector for transmission. This chick probably took the wrong classes and made the wrong friends early in college that lead her down this path. Tiktok is used by her to pat herself on the back and give herself confirmation bias that this wasn’t a colossal mistake. Healthy kids not exposed to this nonsense previously do not see this on tiktok and think cool I’m going to do that. It’s the damaged ones or the ones who for some reason believe their crazy leftist professor.
Just keep them off Tiktok and Tumblr. And try and keep an eye on who they are hanging out with, where you can. And actually ask them how they are, regularly, and be there for them.
I don't think this girl had many positive male role models, by the looks. But hey, I don't know.
Certainly, you can do a lot better than her mother clearly did, with her endorsement of this shit, and use of this psycho's "new name", right at the end...
One final thing: I'm going to make an endorsement for sports, here, or at least outdoor activities. Get them out, off the internet, and away from all these terrible negative influences. And try and steer them towards a more positive outlet for their... Let's say adolescent angst.
Oh, and try to steer them away from liberal arts colleges, lol.
It's possible, but will obviously be hard, and is likely to get harder as things progress. Best of luck. You can only do your best (unlike the mother of this girl, clearly) after all.
There is no proof that was her real mother in the video. The same girl previously had something posted on here that made it look like her parents were not happy with her choices.
there's a woman whose daughter was going in this bad direction so she cut her daughter off from almost all social media . censored key words, and monitored her friend group. Her daughter ended up recovering and is no longer in the cult .Also i'll add , pay attention to the schools your daughter goes to and her teachers and what she's been taught as well.
I can see why. I got a call today from a mother who had questions about her kid, Jasmine. I couldn't find anything, so she told me to try the name "Hunter".
Yep. We've, uhh, "come a long way" since "The Exorcist" was released, hey... :-/
Comments suggest that this Tiktok account no longer exist (except in archive form), so she either... Saw the error of her ways (hope) or... Possibly did what we've all been suggesting was the likely inevitable end result.
I don't believe in demons, but I sure as hell do believe in demonic possession now.
Mind virus.

To be fair, China owns the megaphone that is amplifying those doing it.

As a father of daughters this is my #1 fear
Act accordingly. They are coming for our kids.

Sauce?
You mean on the other post, or where?
I'm not saying that you're wrong - I just don't know exactly where you picked that up from...

Yep, it's there. Just turned ten this summer.
I don't really understand...
You couldn't find anything where..? On social media?
And why are you getting calls from random mothers, lol..?
Can you explain this a bit further, because, uhh, I don't really get it...
It's my job. I work for school boards.

Hasn't been active in a year. So... Yeah.
Demonic possession implies a lack of personal responsibility.
