6th grade. We were reading a book where the black girl protaganist beat up a white bully. Class discussion. I said something like "I thought violence was wrong, I think she did the wrong thing and should have been punished."
After class a black kid from the class came up too me. We had argued about the rightness of violence in the book. He came up to me and Will Smith slapped the fuck out of my face. It hurt like a bitch.
I was a huge pussy in 6th grade and was too scared to do anything.
The worst part was that a teacher saw it and he basically just said, well, XYZ has a rough home life, and I think he was embarassed by what you said, and blah blah blah. Never got punished.
How? They've been brainwashed since childhood that hating anything human is bad, mmkay? They'll just "forgive and forget" and mooove along to the next manufactured crisis.
