This is the film that pleasantly surprised me, had high praise from people whose opinion I can trust and went to the cinema to see it.
No over pandering to any message (other than America fuck yeah) and Maverick was still the best but more in a mentor role this time. So do we need to keep women out of the creation process to get more films like this as I'm willing to engage in some patriarchy for a great films again.
Not a large enough sample size, man. N=1 is bad stats. All this does is give you grounds to start investigating the relationship. you need at least 20 measurements before you can start drawing conclusions that are mathematically valid.
that's true, but you can't isolate that variable without a better control. Right now the theory is "women in positions of leadership in entertainment produce unappealing work" and you've got lots of examples, N=lots, of the positive. But you also need a contemporary control, which is what Top Gun is. It can't be an older work, because there might be an unidentified variable--such as ideology or local culture which are interfering in the relationship.
So N(female) and N(male) are your dependency and control respectively. Good luck, if you actually get results, it would be shocking and well worth writing a paper.
Not a clam in sight.

No, the opposite. This proves that success is directly correlated to the lack of them.

Fair point, but I could wait 10 years and there wouldn't be 20 successful movies.
Yes David Ellison moved from making television shows and bad Hallmark movies to producing.
Or rather, notice the lack of something?
Kathleen Kennedy?
And everyone who shares her most obvious trait.
Being a cunt, or having one?
Kek.
Lol this is a good one.
Yes
You could just as easily suggest they're all white or Jewish.
I wanted to make sure it wasn't a woman, I didn't recognize the name as male or female.
Actually verifying the accuracy of your posts? You've come a long way. I'm proud of you.
I always verify what I say.
Not a spotless record in the past. Now you do. That was actually a sincere compliment.
ngl, the Saga of Imp vs AoV has gotten pretty cringe.
Individually they make good points but against each other it is like watching two armless men trying to box. Pointless and it goes on forever.
