MAGAs have a religion, for the most part. Leftism is the religion of leftists.

The difference between a cult and a religion is size only.

That’s extremely reductive. There are many characteristics that separate a cult from a religion, including the use of psychological manipulation, social isolation and the power dynamic between the leader and the followers.
