What did you expect? This is generational warfare, they are going to keep pushing until desperate people get violent and use it to justify complete subjugation. Open defiance with hard lines set by the communities are the only answer to this.

Using economics and government policy to destroy lives “non-violently”. You can see this in everything from the state forcing your child to gender transition to intentionally inflating the cost of energy. When a human life can be equated to to time/ money then you can effectively “kill” people without firing a single shot.
