I’m avoiding it even through piracy but you would expect many reviews to be bad just like that one. They actively said they didn’t care to keep things within the canon or care about the source material.

Imagine making a series about Tupac and it was just vaguely black people with lots of Asians put in there and had little to do with him. There’d be cultural outrage and it would probably be banned. LotR is a million times more influential than that so you’d expect people to dislike an attempt to use it as a skin suit for a shitty series.
