Don’t break the law. Pretty fucking simple.
That's already rule one. Don't you think there needs to be something specifically for glowposts that are trying to egg people on, which could be used as evidence that this place is fomenting violent revolution or mass shootings? Such speech may not be illegal, but may get us shut down.
I am not agreeing that your banned post was a violation of rule 2 either, but I get his reasoning.
Get us shut down by who? Notice how your first reaction is to counter free speech with censorship not free speech. This cowardice is why kia1 and 2 split. Now you advocate for us to self censor to appease others. I reject that philosophy as this is the actual “glowposting”. You cannot say you value truth if you are willing to censor it out of fear. This is a subjugation mentality, and I will not be your slave.
I didn't advocate censorship. I asked how you'd rewrite rule 2 and you restated rule 1. You could write it in a way that allows your post while banning obvious calls to violence. (legal or illegal) You don't have to cooperate but I thought Dom might take it into consideration to get you to stop being such an autist and shut up about this. Since every time you argue with him/others it's beating them over the head with the letter of the rules and not the spirit of the rules. It sounds like you're REALLY concerned with inconsistency and not following the exact narrow wording of the rules. Maybe that's just a tactic you use. What you've said here about a general philosophy of free speech is a much better argument.
This is a good question. I was repeating their concern, but I'm not a mod or well versed enough on what the challenges to running such a forum are to have a qualified answer. I assume they are trying to protect the reddit sub, which was already suspended. There are also the scored admins, the registrar, or the US govt seizing domains which they do for piracy already. But if it gets to that point I suppose KIA2 would be a very mild example and not the first target anyway. So perhaps "appearances" are more important to them than anything.
Pick one
There's also some stuff that does not violate 'the law' but still attracts negative attention from law enforcement and others.
So we should cower in fear? Lol
Yes, the only alternative to praising violence is definitely "COWERING IN FEAR".
Give it a rest, you sperging loser.
