Those who are war criminals certainly do deserve punishment, and that's what I think the embassy is suggesting. No one should be killed for mere affiliation.

Not all affiliation are passive "Just happened to be here".

Yes, in this case it's an organization. But it would not be right if people who innocently joined Azov were hanged for it.

How do you "innoncently join" an organisation that openly displays murderous ideology symbols ?

No, sorry. Just like the Antifa clowns that fly around hammers and sickles, you don't get to claim innocence in the face of waving around Nazi symbols.

I don't care about their LARP'ing ideology. It is pretty crazy to start going after people for their ideology, like the Western regimes do. Actions are what matters.

Oh yeah, a militarized organisation leading the charge on shelling an entire region is just "LARPing".

When your ideology is "I love mass murdering people", I think it's safe to go after it.

A lot of those shelling Donetsk are not even Azov, just regular AFU. Regardless, yes they're bad, but that is not the question here.

I mean, it's not like Cap being in S.H.I.E.L.D. when it's in fact infiltrated by Hydra. When you wear the badge on your arm, some McCarthyism ain't all bad.

FYI the russians went ahead and mass murdered azov POWs with a therobaric weapon and then lied to claim it was a HIMARS strike:

You don't actually believe that, do you? Anything to try to avoid admitting that the weapons you are sending to those dirtbags in Ukraine are being used for war crimes and crimes against humanity, as they are.

But hey, at least you have a good source!

Pathetic, Antonio, pathetic. How can you take Ukraine's side of the whole dick chop thing but then spout russian propaganda on this?

The best you can do is an ad hominem on a source pointing to objective photographic evidence. uh huh.

The Russians murdered Ukrainian POWs, the very POWs who the russian government openly called for the execution of a short time earlier.

There is absolutely no reason why the Ukrainians would launch a HIMARS strike at a known POW camp to kill their own people. There is no reason to launch a HIMARS strike at a building super close to the front line well within the range of cheap conventional artillery.

And, just as the twitter thread I linked points out, the damage done was 100% consistent with a Russian thermobaric weapon, and not at all with a HIMARS explosive warhead.

I thought you might not be a Putin-bot NPC anymore, but I guess you reverted.

Thankfully, nobody else believes the Russians, and the Europeans have all condemned this as an obvious war crime. Which it is.

I could say the exact same thing about you, in fact, with greater cause. When it suited you, it wasn't a false flag, but now that it does, it's suddenly a 'false flag' and 'Russian propaganda'.

The best you can do is an ad hominem on a source pointing to objective photographic evidence. uh huh.

The best I can do is point out that your source is not reliable, yes. Quite good actually.

The Russians murdered Ukrainian POWs, the very POWs who the russian government openly called for the execution of a short time earlier.

As if the Russian government takes orders from its London embassy, which was quoting one of the people in its video. By the way, I didn't hear you about Ukraine shooting Russian POWs in the knee. I guess it was too inconvenient for our old imperialist.

There is absolutely no reason why the Ukrainians would launch a HIMARS strike at a known POW camp to kill their own people.

Your reaction shows that there absolutely is. There is no reason for the Russians to be doing this, when they could hang them from the highest trees in Siberia to thunderous applause.

I thought you might not be a Putin-bot NPC anymore, but I guess you reverted.

I'm the same I've always been. It's quite interesting that in this matter, you claim that anyone who doesn't go along with Western media propaganda is a "Putin-bot NPC".

Thankfully, nobody else believes the Russians, and the Europeans have all condemned this as an obvious war crime. Which it is.

As if the organized crime syndicates you call European governments would ever condemn their friends, no matter what they did.

Bullshit. I follow the evidence. That's what the evidence shows. If the evidence was consistent with Ukraine doing it, I would accept that, I wouldn't spam slava ukrani like the flag bots you see on reddit and twitter. For example, I disagree with the UKR practice of having their russian POWs call their moms and pressure them to complain to the russian government. Calling their moms is nice, but doing it and telling them what to say to take advantage is fucked up.

As if the Russian government takes orders from its London embassy

It shows the sentiment of the russian government.

There is no reason for the Russians to be doing this

There is absolutely a reason, and you are living proof of it: deniability, no matter how absurd.

Yeah, you literally get your opinions from an ITALIAN FILMMAKER on Twitter.

All to avoid having to accept that the HIMARS Pothole-Maker you've been bragging about for all this time was used to commit a war crime by your friends.

For example, I disagree with the UKR practice of having their russian POWs call their moms and pressure them to complain to the russian government. Calling their moms is nice, but doing it and telling them what to say to take advantage is fucked up.

Literally picked out the least bad thing Ukraine is doing. But OK, I think this is the first time you have ever criticized that puppet state.

It shows the sentiment of the russian government.

Does it? Quoting some victims of Azov calling for their hanging?

There is absolutely a reason, and you are living proof of it: deniability, no matter how absurd.

Says the guy who is going full Alex Jones to deny that Ukraine is using his Drag Queen Empire's weapons to commit war crimes... even though they've been doing it for a while now.

Regardless, who has more reason to care about what idiots in the West think, Ukraine or Russia?

The tweet is clear: that all "Azov militants deserve execution".

According to russian propaganda, this makes total sense since they're all portrayed as hard core nazis.

Of course the USSR only killed a handful of the ACTUAL nazis at the end of ww2, but russian officials are mad now because the war isn't going well for them.

I mean, Russians also breath air. That also makes total sense.

Just because you're a little Azov neo-Nazi toadie doesn't mean everyone sensible doesn't see Ukraine for what Ukraine actually is.

Being a hard-core Nazi is not a justification for execution. Now if it is proven that specific fighters committed war crimes or participated in them, it's a different matter.

For those, it is nice that they remembered that Nuremberg gave hanging as a punishment for soldiers who had behaved particularly egregiously.

The ADL still has an article about Azov being a Neo-Nazi organization

And yet Israel sends them guns. Gotta love it. Honk honk.

It only doesn't make sense if you forget that the US sent Al Qaeda weapons to fight against the Syrian government.

The ideologies that they cite, and purport to oppose, are just to silence their domestic political opposition. When it comes to geopolitics, they'll gladly help terrorists, Nazis, and mass murderers... while criticizing the "human rights record" of states that act against their interests.

Closer to like five-six months. Forgotten Weapons had that blowup over the Azov volunteer autobiography just last February, like a week before the war (re)started. That update package got rolled out real fucking fast.
