It's so huge and powerful at this point that it's practically an organized secular religion. Which actually makes a lot of sense when you think about it. Secularism has only been growing more popular over the years, but a lot of people still have this spiritual need, which needed to be filled by something, whether it's celebrities, politicians or the woke religion.
