It's a shakedown.
But why? He's been a good little regime puppet, propping up Citigroup yet again with another purchase of their worthless stock.
I used to admire him before he bought that, but buying that shows he isn't really a smart investor, he's just establishment backed.
Why? Because that's where the money is.
Any reason in particular you are suddenly obsessed with hating Citigroup? Did they hire a woman or something?
I've always disliked them, since they hired a feminist CEO just over a year ago. They've just become increasingly relevant as their influence has been weaponized.
Ah, now we know the reason.
Is that also why you think that Musk buying Citigroup shares proves that he is bribed and blackmailed by the womans?
Yes, everyone with a brain should hate the banks.
Musk doesn't own Citigroup shares, Citi owns around 1 million Tesla shares.
Oh right, you thought that Citi was rewarding Musk for remarking on the birth rate.
You have no idea how hilarious that is to us normal people.
Lol I bought Citigroup stock, too, back when Obama was preparing his bailout package for them. Why? Because it was an easy way to make some money with what I calculated to be relatively low risk given the impending bailout.
Doesn't mean I like Citigroup or support government bailouts. But if they're gonna do it anyway and I can profit, I'll take advantage. Buffet is just doing the same thing, no?
I’m skeptical of the current DOJ and I’d be curious to see what evidence they are using
I'd also be curious to see how many white people got 'redlined' in this case.
Very good point. I have to believe that happens. There are plenty of low income whites as well
Burgers?
Thanks. I have to get CFPB training every year at my job. Only problem is giving loans to people who can’t afford to pay them back. I guess this falls under disparate impact which can still get someone in trouble
Sounds like good business sense to me. I don't see any black owned banks lending money to those people.
These are some of the worst neighborhoods in the United States, by the by. Camden had a running record for murder capital of America. The West Philly neighborhood was recently in the news...teenagers beat an elderly man to death I think? Maybe it was the traffic cone guy? Who can keep track.
The idea that mortgages in these places would be rejected for anything other than because these territories are absolutely savage, is hilarious.
Warren Buffett, friend of Bill Gates and sanctimonious tax dodger, very selflessly pledged to give away (to Bill) all of his money after he's dead. The biggest bug farm in America will be named after him for his sacrifice.
Bug Buffet or Worm Warren?
