I don't know how we let them start the whole "Gender is assigned at birth" shit when it's clear sex, not their outdated fashion tropes, is observed, not assigned, during gestation, not at fucking birth.
We didn't let them start. The enemy practiced "repressive tolerance" and we (our parents generation really) didn't realize what was going on until it was too late. They propagated, through cultural conquest, the meme that the side fighting "the system" is always the good guys regardless of tactics or outcome and the side supporting "the system" is always the bad guys.
Now we are fighting from a position where anyone who disagrees with them can be drained of moral and epistemic authority and silenced under any number of pretexts.
They can lie as much as they want, we are banned for stating any truth they claim is "hateful". They never have to win an argument, because eventually there is nobody left to speak out against them.
Of course we did. I never see push back on the concept that gender is assigned at birth, only that doctors are speaking about sex.
"Gender assigned at birth" is something that crept up in the last 10 years. This isn't on our parents.

We didn’t. They kept repeating it and hr departments and the media has carried it further. Remember CA voted down gay marriage multiple time in the 90s and early 2000s. This wasn’t something the majority of people agreed upon.
