Of course we did. I never see push back on the concept that gender is assigned at birth, only that doctors are speaking about sex.
"Gender assigned at birth" is something that crept up in the last 10 years. This isn't on our parents.
Did you just say "Trans women are women" ?
Because I'm pretty sure Trans women are men.
