Just speculating based on the chat log, he probably had voice off and the alleged grill, if she did ask whose gun it was, probably did it through voice which he wouldn't have heard.
Also most games of KF2 are played on private servers which are moderated by the private individuals that own them, they let the public freely drop in and use their servers (otherwise they can block them off with a password requirement if they don't want randoms using it). Tripwire can't "ban" someone from playing KF2 in these contexts.
So uh, cope/seethe/dilate/touch grass, etc. Learn to tolerate some light banter, for Christ's sake.

It's unfortunate. I got the game after their CEO voiced his opinion, and I supported him, only for his company to throw him under the bus. I deleted the game from my library after that.

In this game, you purchase weapons based on money you earn.
If you die, you take a hit to your wallet (on top of dropping the weapon you were using).
Late in the game, this can have a big effect on your ability to stay alive since you can't buy weapons/armor, so it's common courtesy to find the weapon of the dead player + hold it for them until the round ends + then everyone spares some money to help them get their equipment back up.
