It's a shame the Civ series decided to go so retarded.

Well, this is a mod. Civ did get retarded. Both can be true.
I mean, Civ series is still retarded, but that is good information to know nonetheless.
If you're looking to scratch that itch, some of the Civ IV team went and made Old World instead. I can't vouch for its quality or their relative level of based-ness.
