Calling what women do in the military “serving” is like saying Nathan Phillips was a veteran. They know they will always have it easier and it’s why most join.
To be entirely fair, maintenance must be done and someone has to do it. Pretending to be a Vietnam vet when you spent the entire war stateside working on refrigerators is egregious.
He and those like him know what people think when they hear "veteran" let alone "Vietnam veteran" my grandpa was a marine during Korea, stateside doing maintenance on planes. Which is why he never wore a "Korean War veteran" hat
Sorry but most military maintenance jobs always involve heavy lifting, if a group of all females can’t do it then there’s a clear issue in capability and performance.
