you won’t likely find anyone in official Washington saying anything positive about the gunman.

For Trump, they demanded that he condemn everything, and when he did, they said that he didn't condemn it quickly enough.

For their own, it's... "eh... but we haven't openly expressed support for the gunman!!!"
