Reduce nitrogen? The inert harmless gas which does nothing?...Wut!
And makes up the vast majority of the air already.
It doesn't do nothing, it contributes to plant growth when used in fertilizer.
That's only when nitrogen is fixed into the soil via various methods (one of which being lightning of all things).
Nitrogen gas doesn't really do anything and our atmosphere is something like 76% nitrogen already.
