Now I'm going to be super honest about everything.
It's more than just 100-200 during the current massive slugfest on the Luhansk front, and this is what a regular conventional war (the largest in Europe since WWII) looks like.
Men are needed not only for fighting. The entire society depends on them (you know this). And the young women's survival in particular is especially critical to the nation demographics (with many millions lost since 1991), as Ukraine's population may very rapidly shrink by half in the next 2 decades with no immigration. (Russia's by just 1/4, but this because of the high Russian Muslim birth rates - Russia will become Islamic soon even without massive immigration, but actually they got a lot of it from the Central Asia too.) And you can't just commit a national suicide in an existentional war.
While almost entire Europe is dying out even in peacetime. (Countries like Japan too.) No, not men. Everyone. Being ethnically replaced by migrants from other continents. But you know about it. Also by 2100 majority of the children born on Earth will be being born in just the Sub-Saharan Africa, and then they will replace everyone everywhere if nothing changes. Maybe the lack of food shipments therr now will change it, but probably not as the world won't let it happen, and if it does happen they will just let them migrate north on a gigantic scale. The future is just depressing.
The surviving young Ukrainian will have to fuck like the people after WWII did. Rresulting in the Boomer phenomenon everywhere, and in the Soviet Union and Germany too despite their especially catastrophic losses among the young men. They will have ot the nation will die, biologically. They will have a new nationalist duty, fucking around to the victory. Maybe this way at least they will not die out like the rest of the West, for a time being.
But, and seriously, try talking to some random normal Ukrainian men sometimes. The refugee issue is not even regarded as anything controversial. Those who flee the conflict and their duties are regarded as traitors by their countrymen. Also it's a curious reverse situation to the WWI Belgium, where patriotic young men wer actually escaping the occupied country to fight for Belgium in France (and thousands of them died in the electric fences that the Germans set up to stop them). Also most of those who fight are volunteers, including in the territorial formations made to accommodate them. Talk to them and their perspectives, and their history, and their future, and not me as a middleman, man.
I know you won't care, but anyway. It looks like that.
