Such a dumb argument. They make womens football boots. The sizes are different. And nothing prevents a girl from buying boots that are in male sizes. They will just have to figure out what their size is in mens.
Same argument made against "the pink tax" regarding razor blades. Nothing stops women by razors marketed to men.
And the pink tax that used more expensive ingredients so they are then shocked at sticker price. And I believe male football boots are typically more expensive or have a higher price ceiling for top of the line models
