There have only been 13 since 1966? I want to disagree, but when I really think about it, I'm not sure I can.
A stricter tally of mass school shootings, conducted by criminologists for Scientific American, only includes incidents where the shootings resulted in at least four deaths. Using their criteria, the number of mass school shootings in the U.S. since the year 1966 is 13. These crimes claimed the lives of 146 people in total.
146 is about two a year. That is literally a non issue. It's horrible for the parents who won the reverse lottery, but your kids are legitimately a hundred thousand times more likely to be molested by a teacher than shot by a random lunatic.
Without consulting any records, my brain can recall four since 2000. I'm sure there's got to be at least six or seven, because it feels like the US gets one every two years at least.
Looking at this wikipedia page, there are lots of shootings at schools, but most of them are not what we think of when we say 'school shooting'.
I'm going go out on a limb and say that it's unfair to only count it as a mass shooting if 3 people die', and count '3 people injured' as a mass shooting. There's more than I knew of/remembered, but indeed, we're still talking about less deaths than there will be from kids running across roads.
I'm sure there are more and more shootings missing from the list the further back you go, but I bet that even if you could find them all, the same trend would still be apparent;
An exponential increase in incidents since 1960. Or in other words; since the project to destroy the nuclear family truly got underway.

Can't publish facts like this in main stream media.

This page is the real kicker, though.
