Double space to separate. Why? I don't know, it really is the dumbest thing with paragraph separation I've seen.
All this has done is made people have no interest in female or minority characters because it seems like they will just be an avatar
Same old garbage. Characters that are not popular in the comics are not likely to magically become popular because they were featured in a movie.
Case in point: Cyborg. DC moved him from Teen Titans supporting character to core Justice League member years ago, but does anybody like him?

Fair. You could argue that for Iron Man too- definitely a B tier character pre Robert Downey Jr.
What they both have in common is a more comedic take on the characters.
Iron Man had the added bonus of immediately doing away with the ridiculous "Iron Man is my bodyguard" secret identity.
