I sometimes feel he gives too much leeway to woke shit, like with Peacemaker, but he is worth checking out.
One tell I've noticed is how much pop music is in the show. Peacemaker is chock full of pop and uses it to make you feel things instead of using story.
Same thing with the Cohen Bros movies. Take the music out of it and they're all crap.
Music should buttress the story not replace it.
