Nearly every Catholic I know considers the pope a heretic, even the leftist ones.
Is that not, y'know, kind of a existential religious crisis for them? They seem pretty chill for Catholics who consider themselves popeless and under the yoke of a heretic.
Not really.
It's long been known that the church is corrupt to its core. They mostly just keep to themselves and shop around for the better priests.
The younger ones don't care and really only show up for holidays and special events. Some to take their children prior to confirmation.
At this point most believe in the teachings but can't stand the bureaucracy. Even the priests themselves moan about it.
They should write those complaints down. Maybe nail it to a door somewhere.
Some guy tried that already and it did the opposite of helping.
The Church may suck, but at least we dont have dyke pastors.
