I give it a month until they complain about being mistreated.
Hopefully this deters the economic asylum seekers and speeds up the process for actually helping the genuine ones who are actively fleeing warzones.
I was trying to explain to someone that economic opportunity is not a basis for asylum. I used to work in immigration and had to explain to people they couldn’t claim asylum. The media unfortunately broadcasts every sob story
unless they snuck on board a ship headed to britain or something, there's just about zero reason for anyone to be claiming asylum on an island when there's a massive bit of land between their country and it.
The getting out of the EU starts to pay-off.
"processing"
Processed foods for the Rwandan-sponsored cannibal Congo rebels.
think of all the diversity Rwanda will be enjoying!
I don't see any issues. Rwanda is mostly free from that horrible Whypeepo influence, free from their systemicatic racism. You'd think this would lure MORE migrants, given how awful everyone says the british imperialism is.
AKA: Are you sure you don't want to stay in France?
Camping out in Calais is going to seem less attractive when they learn there's a trip to Rwanda waiting at the other end of the tunnel.
This is a humanitarian crises and they are making a mockery of the response by sending them to that war-torn country! There is no place safe for any asylum seeker in Rwanda. These people come looking for safety, healthcare, and better lives. It is the duty of the British Empire to look after them an ensure they are taken care of. One of the crown's many Island Territories has plenty of room and can act as a temporary base of operations for this processing center. The ideal place should have access to all the modern conveniences but be protected so as to ensure these suffering people shall come to no further harm. Might I suggest a warm, tropical location at that, it is a better climate politically they came for, but physically doesn't hurt. Ascension Island is best, I think.
The hotel manager was more recently arrested for "terrorism".
Yeah, but the road up to is is rough, man. Speedbumps every other meter!
