Musk has a long advocated a libertarian vision of an 'uncontroller' internet. That's also the dream of every dictator, strongman and demagogue.

The Guardian edited out this line at the beginning of the article, likely because they realized how dumb & tyranical it made them look. Thankfully there is archived versions of the article.
