What do you mean "big" though? It happened but not to the levels it did on the Russian or Japanese sides. It happened much more in Vietnam.
Not a huge issue in Vietnam, too. First of all due to the extremely easy access to hookers (through the Vietnamese very-organised crime), or in some cases to local girlfriends.
