The number of movies produced by the Nigerian film industry in the second quarter of 2021 jumped to 635 from 416 in the first quarter, the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS), says.
NBS published the figure on Wednesday in its “Nollywood Movies Production Data for Quarter Two, 2021” on its website.
According to the publication, the figure indicates a growth of 53.93 per cent Quarter on Quarter and a 1.44 per cent Year on Year growth over the 626 movies produced in the second quarter of 2020.
It's not about representation. They don't give a shit about that.
It's about demoralization and deracination. The goal is to make you feel like a stranger in your own country.
Notice how the 'black' movies that MSM cares about are the ones that attack white people. They couldn't give a less of a fuck about 'black' film or TV that is about anything else.
When did you ever hear them talk about anything on BET, or anything on OWN, that wasn't Oprah Winfrey herself?

It was never about representation. Remember when they were saying that the oscars are to white despite the oscar awards are about the same in average as the percentage of african americans?
Remember when they wanted diversity in fantasy saying is not historic but fantasy and then they moved to having diversity in historic movies?
It has always been about virtue signaling and power.
Every time I see changing white characters to black and forcing diversity in various European themed movies all I get from that is that Hollywood and the broader left hates white people and and want to hurt them as much as possible.
"representation" and "diversity" is a kafkatrap. What it really means is "controlled by marxists".
But if you disagree with it you get branded as a racist because that is the only reason you could possibly be against it, according to the indoctrinators. And since, in their delusional fantasy, "racists" aren't people they can be ignored without consideration.
A simple socratic questioning of the terms "representation" and "diversity" and "inclusion" shows they are meaningless, so the proponents never let it happen. Instead they put out the virtue signal then personally attack anyone who pushes back, they will never argue for their position.
At some point I have to believe that they realize when you endlessly talk about representation you basically make people less likely to watch modern day stuff with black people, women, or lgbt. Although as a Christian I’m not really interested in stuff that focuses heavily on lgbt
And this is just one country in Africa...
