I am very naive. I would’ve thought that not letting minors make permanent changes to their bodies was pretty sane. I mean when I was a kid I would’ve loved to have eaten desert all the time.
They don't even know about the bill in most cases. It's the HRC calling their fuck buddies who work at these corporations for a small donation so their corporation's name can be added to a 'good cause'.
It's virtue signalling. These corporations have no idea what is actually going on. They pay these groups (the HRC in this case) to post on their behalf as a way to make themselves look good and increase sales, this is listed under both advertising and charity/tax write-offs budgets. A good reporter investigating, calling up the company to talk with someone in charge like a VP of marketing, would get a bunch if not most of these signatures removed once they were informed just what they were endorsing. But, good luck finding a reporter, let alone a good one.

Half the stuff considered sane now would not be considered sane less that 10 years ago, let alone the 90s or 80s
You think the idiots signing this actually know what's in the bill or just what the media tells them is in it?
Good point

Back when I was a kid, it was outrageous for anything beyond a girl getting her ears pierced.
Also, desserts* because you go back for seconds.
True. Thanks
