[Actually Kotaku] It's a half decade later and they've never stopped pulling "Kinda Yikes" on Palmer Luckey (twitter.com)

Can we talk about how journalists speak like 14-year-old idiots?
Kinda yikes? The English language has so many words to express your feelings and you go with that? Someone, who I am 100% sure went to college, has worse English than mine. I'm a no-degree, working class, Eastern European who started actually properly learning English at age 15.
Just think about that for a second and weep.

They talk that way because they're perpetual children. They went to school from kindergarten through college and got a "job" that perfectly recreates the college environment.

They have extended their adolescence in perpetuity.

The second part here is a beautiful letter to the editor published in a London newspaper written by a local prostitute in the mid 19th century. It demonstrates how far civilization has fallen that a Victorian trollop, who had never seen the inside of a classroom, has such a grasp of our language that she makes any Harvard graduate look like a troglodyte.

Meanwhile, the average 100iq pleb today, despite graduating highschool, writes barely legible twaddle full of grammatical errors and scant punctuation.

Amazing.

More in the thread:

Games journalism has been going down the tubes for years, but JFC. Middle-schoolers could research and write a better piece with 15 minutes of library computer time.

I rarely consider suing these sham journalists, but claims that I work with the Russians have me thinking hard.

DO IT

Jesus Chris, how I want this to happen.
