There is no such thing as 'compromised'. They just do whatever is to their benefit. It is to their benefit to side with the regime.
What we need to do is change incentives and make it more costly to side with the regime. As daunting a task as that is, it is more manageable than if we deceive ourselves by pretending that it is about 'infiltrators'.
If they update it to also down rank Aljezeera, BBC, and CBC and others that wouldn’t be so bad. I don’t understand why anyone would want to look at state funded news for the truth

The only good thing about DDG is the ability to search multiple engines / sites from one site. That's pretty much the only reason I still use it. It's been like months since I've had it use their search though. I'm always directing it to other sites with their bangs.
