by letting self-interested securitate members lead different army regiments on wild goose chases to shoot each other in the night then execute the dictator after a mock trial?
nobody in Romania genuinely remembers any actual revolution, things just went from dulled socialism to depraved capitalism overnight as far as the actual population is concerned. don't forget that it conveniently happened after Ceausescu literally zeroed national debt and expressed his wish to start a world bank of his own, too.
Romania just went from one end of the shit dichotomy to the other. it wasn't the glorious revolution you think it was.
The Romanian revolution is very murky, it all looks like foreign influences but who or what I do not know. I would say that it was done by american globalists, however I do not know how much of an interest did the globalists have in Romania. Maybe they predicted that the new center for marxism is going to be the west and not Russia, but it seems like a huge gamble 30 years ago.
It worked out in the end, I give Romania 5 more years before they fully embrace identity politics, LGBTQ+ and victimhood hierarchies. Problem I have with Romania is that, unlike Poland or Hungary, they seem to just copy what ever everyone else is doing without question. Is like the communist mentality never really left them, if EU says jump they jump, if everyone in the west is eating shit they will eat shit and smile.
I know people here do not like muslims all that much but I'm honestly starting to like jordanians and egyptians, even guys from saudi-arabia, they just seem incredibly based and family oriented. If it was not for the identity politics playing both side they would be great allies.

Think older. 500 years older.
