No, revolutions tend to be followed by wars.
Revolutions are not wars. Revolutions have to follow a war. For one simple reason. The victor determines.
If one side wins, it's a rebellion, uprising, domestic terrorism. If the other wins, it's revolution.
But the point is that since the revolution precedes the war, it certainly was not caused by the war.
WWI revolutions were caused by war.
So was for example the Paris Commune.
I am thinking of proper revolutions - the wholesale destruction of the old order.
