Perhaps because Pandemic features a real pandemic that actually behaves like a pandemic, and kills en masse, rather than a fucking media pandemic that we mostly only know exists thanks to television, radio, newspapers, smartphones and the fucking internet..??
Perhaps because they didn’t want us to question the fact that, “Hmm, gee, this whole Covid malarkey sure don’t feel like one of those fictional pandemics we all know about…”
I’m willing to assume there is shitty politics at play, here, rather than whatever bullshit justification others might think up…
"Weird, this highly rated game claims viruses become weaker after they mutate to infect more people, and viruses that are actually super deadly tend to burn out rapidly. Maybe there's something else going on here..."
I never played so I have no idea why it would be considered "politically incorrect"
What seems kind of strange is them pulling down the game without virtue signaling.
Looking at the screen shot of diversity in the article , the company is probably as left as most other companies, you would expect it to be happy to say it is removing the game to save the world from COVID. I'm a bit suspicious and I do not like jumping to conclusions without learning more on the situation.
And you can still buy the boardgame. that is the bases for the app.
Nothing politically incorrect about it, it's a pretty simple token management boardgame in its base form and appropriately doomsdayish in tone for the covidian's tastes.
With the original boardgame still for sale, I'd say it's more likely there's a problem with the licencing agreement with the 3rd party publisher for the video game version than wildly speculate any other reasons.
They could have just thought it was in poor taste recently. Possibly lost someone, and just wanted to be done with it, or were pressured by someone else for similar reasons. I don't agree, but would understand.
There could be a licensing issue, but that would have been reported.

Well, Plauge, Inc is still a thing. I mean, it's a game where you get to play the disease.
It's because Plague Inc teaches people that diseases present with no symptoms, infect everyone, and turn into Super-Ebola.
Maybe your actually playing as Fauci in plague inc and your just doing a little gain of function research.
still appears to be available on piratebay and other trackers
few seeds though so get it while its hot!

I'm sorry, I have no experience with unfriendly sites.
Do you have a list of unfriendly sites?
Well, examine some of them. TheGamer is a SJW Leftist shithole. But we do have a list on the Reddit sub: here
Thanks, mate. I bookmarked it. I only know about CNN and Guardian.
