Of course he does, he has zero medical training just like most Health Secretaries. Keep in mind Jeremy Hunt advocated for Homeopathy and from further afield Belgium has Jabba the Hutt as their own Health Secretary. The title means fuck all in regards to what the person holding it actually knows about health and/or medicine and since politicians really care more about staying in office/power they will say whatever it needed to remain there, even when it's contrary to facts.
This is why it literally shouldn't exist. Health Secretary/Minister whatever. Public Health is a feminized joke and the government should have no say in my health.
As of today, it would depend on where he worked. Some hospitals would fire him. He could still run his own clinic without interference - until the blue states start having medical boards revoke the licenses of unapproved doctors. And of course the medical schools will start filtering out people like him so that every doctor is a good establishment puppet.
He's being set up. They're going to fire him shortly and after that he will "get covid and die" so they can all say told-you-so. I mean they're going to use the CIA heart attack raygun on him but the cause of death on the certificate and in the news will be listed as covid.
