I actually think it's less about being chased off YouTube by crazy leftists and more about continuing to be a YouTuber is beneath her now that she is a published author.
She published a shitty science fiction novel last year than achieved moderate success. It was obviously a longstanding dream finally realized.
The first thing she did when she announced her new novel was to make private her entire back catalogue of Nostalgia Chick videos from her Channel Awesome days because she was ashamed of them and didn't want to any of her less-woke commentary to fuck things up.
She's obviously now lost her passion for making woke videos too, but has 9000 Patriots supporters funneling her 20k a month (who have more or less been paying her to write her novels btw).
So she’s quitting YT, but leaving the Patreon open with no plans to produce anymore content.
I believe at least part of the sudden pity party is to manipuoate her moronic supporters to keep paying her a monthly stipend because "my mental health is so bad right now" while she fucks off and continues writing novels like she wants to do.
