Surprisingly enough, I'm with FilthyJewMODS on this one.
The issue isn't the protesting, it's the place.
You can not get a fair trial, or even fair legal representation in DC. Everyone there wants everyone here, dead. The police will not help you, the judges will not help you, the juries will not help you, and your lawyers will not help you.
Sure, protest the vaccine mandates in Tallahassee. Protest them in Albany. Hell, you can probably get away with protesting them in Seattle, but you'll still likely get bludgeoned.
There is no reason you should be protesting in DC. That shit is enemy territory. You might as well be protesting in Bejing. The only reason you are going to go there is so that either Federal Law Enforcement or Federal Surveillance Agencies can audio & video record you, then use your presence as a weapon against you. Worst case scenario, we'll see you in 2026 after the Republicans maybe decide to let you out of a federal prison, after your commutation becomes a political football for Trump Term 2. Best case scenario, they recruit you into "a right-wing extremist organization" run entirely by feds, or one that will be shortly.
There is no one in DC prepared to listen to your appeal. They'd rather kill you, rape you, torture you, or stuff you in a prison forever. You are not people to them. You are the enemy. They want to drone strike you, the former CIA chief basically said as much. I wouldn't be surprised if this was declared a "super spreader event" and everyone involved in it had to be arrested.
I'm not saying don't do anything. I've been saying engage in Civil Disobedience for months. We do not have to follow unconstitutional edicts, and we do not have to tolerate them. However, protesting in DC specifically is a stupid idea that only has negative outcomes for you, and rather serious ones at that.

LawPolitical Enforcement to document social networks, infiltrate anti-mandate organizations, and possibly justify further attacks and encroachments. Do not follow enemy orders. DC is not going to be liberated, it has to be re-conquered, and you're not gonna do that with a stupid protest that's designed to hurt you.Six republicans signed a document condemning the treatment of January 6th protesters. At this stage of the game I think protests in general are a trap.

Land of the free, home of the brave my ass. More people protest against vax mandates in a single city in Germany than all of the US combined as far as I can tell.
Large parts of Germany have literally outlawed protests and people still find a way. German politicians weaponize intelligence agencies against protesters and people still go out in the streets. The media calls them deniers, extremists, far-right, conspiracy theorists, trolls, etc and people still protest.
Obviously the usual glowy shenanigans are always a possibility but I am hopeful since this is a non political group of rational medical professionals and business professionals organizing a peaceful event.
This hopefully will not end up the same as last time there was an event in DC.
