This is how I feel about tolerance.
If I don't find it wrong, I don't have to make an effort to tolerate it. I am already okay with it.
If I have to make myself tolerate it, then I find something so wrong with it that otherwise I would just plain refuse. In that case, why am I making myself be okay with something that repulses me so much? Isn't that wrong?
Toleration is accidents, or relapses, or moments of weakness. You don't tolerate intentional, directed evil, which is of course, what we're always told to tolerate.
It was Christians obsession over forgiveness and meekness that allowed the modern PC tolerance movement to flourish, eventually leading to SJWs. Leftism is a warped religiosity. "Thou shalt donate half thy income to the poor - or thou shalt have no income."
I don't entirely blame Christians, they have a weak spot that was taken advantage of. They just need to realize that and stop making the same mistakes like bringing in random immigrants from any country because "God doesn't see race".
It’s fine if you don’t understand the Christian perspective concerning this life and death… but what do you expect Christians to do beyond what they’ve been doing for the last 50 years, i.e. working within the system to fight the Left at every turn, only to have the rise of secularism and moral degeneracy become a tide that is too strong for them to hold back? Why is the blame for this placed on Christians and not the predominantly secular/atheist Left who promised for years that abolishing Christianity and religion in general would lead to a more rational world?
Sorry but you’re just wrong. You’re seriously trying to argue that Christian values allowed for a rise in the popularity of socialism, LGBT acceptance, the gender spectrum, diversity and inclusion? What are you talking about? Christians were regularly smeared and mocked for decades (and still are) for opposing all of these things.
Many of the people here were just red-pilled in the last 5 years or so. While they we’re out voting for Obama or “feeling the Bern” or fighting for gay marriage, Christians were holding fast and voting for the most conservative options on the ballot. The white Christian (non-Catholic) vote has been one of the most reliable voting blocks for Republicans since the 70’s at least. You don’t get to turn around and blame Christians now when most of the people here (most of who are non-religious) actively contributed to the cultural decline that we’ve been fighting for so long.
They shouldn't be. Tolerance is a vice, a sin. The word itself means that, to passively sit by and ignore a moral wrong.

Because more than anything, the wicked crave the power to force your acceptance. They're just like their master in that regard.
That is a great point, I haven't looked at it that way before.

It's an abandonment of moral responsibility.

He will, but that doesn't mean we don't have to do our part in this world to secure our place in the next.
Agreed. Tolerance is clearly a losing strategy.
Cut non-conservatives out of your life and tell them exactly why you are doing it.
