The government cares very little about most things.
One thing it cares about very much is how much money you owe it, and when you are paying it back.

I think a handful got handed some threatening letters, but the thing about sex work is they are so disposable that no one would even remember specific certain ones getting hit because a dozen new ones replaced them.
I doubt anything truly happened beyond the letters though beyond spooking a few.
It might depend on whether or not the thots were making real money. If They're pulling in hundreds of thousands of dollars, they probably got attorneys to figure out, and made some settlement with the IRS, or overpaid so that the money could roll over into the next year.

They all age out of it after a few years. Some very attractive and moral-less robot brain types may have a few more years than most but they all eventually age out. Then they are left with nothing but a the lingering taste for the high falutin life they once lived but never will again, no built up experience in a field, and no male prospects they want because high value men dont go for whores or e-whores. All that with the second half of their life to live.
