When did this childish "And That's A Good Thing" crap start?
It's always not a good thing at all.
Marxist propaganda technique: when you have to admit something is bad to the public, you juxtapose it with a positive. Since most of what they add "and that's a good thing" at the end is always terrible ("You'll live in a pod and own nothing," "People will eat bugs in the future, "The vaccine changes your DNA," "Yes, teenagers are dying of heart attacks from the vaccine," etc.), just tag "And that's a good thing!" and most of the fucking idiots who just read headlines will go, "Oh, that's a relief!" and continue on unaware.
They can do even better with fake science:
"Study suggests people who live in pods and own nothing have far more stress-free lives. (Stock photo of woman smiling with her eyes closed and arms raised, and a blue sky behind her)"
"15 ways that eating bugs improves your health"
"How human DNA changes are a naturally occurring phenomenon"
"Leading psychologist: Covid fears cause natural death stories to jump to the front page."
"Scientists: How humanity being in a depopulation cycle is not only natural but also beneficial for future generations."
If you have to smash your readers about the eyeballs with "And that's a good thing" in the headline it's unlikely to be a good thing at all.
Martha Stewart, and parodies of her. Royal Canadian Air Farce had her doppleganger say it a lot.
Bernie Sanders’ breadline comment
It is the "For your own good" of our time, dumbed further down for the approval seeking tards that thinks a head pat from the government is a good thing.
