Tamriel is fucked either way. Stormcloaks win and the Thalmor have an easy time taking a weakened and divided Empire before taking Skyrim. The Empire wins and the Thalmor have an easy time taking a weakened Empire. All the easier with the Emperor getting assassinated by the Brotherhood.
All the previous times I've played in the past 10 years I've gone with the Empire, but honestly I don't like either because the real threat is the Thalmor and the non-high elves are weakened by either outcome.

Those cucks couldn't take Hammerfell even with their dirty tactics. That's why they're pretending to suck up to the empire to weaken Skyrim, because in a direct fight with just about anyone they don't stand a chance. Hell, even the bears can handle their "patrols" quite easily. If they can't even survive the wildlife, how are they going to handle the natives?
Kick out the weaklings who want peace and cooperation and Skyrim will be stronger than ever.

Elves always play both sides...
