I remember someone snapped at me when I criticized the me too movement for the whole believe all women crap. I said accusations should be heard but taking an accusation as the gospel truth is very dangerous. I thought I was being reasonable
To a zealot, the single most dangerous thing that you can about someone is that they are reasonable.
They know how to work with - or around - other extremists.
I watched some of the jury selection on Nick Rekieta's stream today for the Kim Potter (the "taser taser taser" lady cop).
They gave all potential jurors a questionnaire asking questions specifically about opinions re: BLM and Blue Lives Matter.
It seemed obvious that they were automatically disqualifying anyone who was skeptical of BLM or supportive of cops.
I don't fault them for trying, but it's still concerning that they were allowed to get away with that.
Also, and this has only just occurred to me, the next time "Believe all women" comes up:
