It is like, every episode he was in, he wasn't particularly smart, but it was like the rest of the crew magically became incompetent idiots, including Data lol. Oh there were a couple ok parts of his character but mostly it sucked.
There are precisely two Wesly episodes that are OK, and they both have him off the ship interacting pretty much exclusively with Picard as far as other members of the crew goes.
I will give you that, actually thinking back there were a couple episodes that were OK with him. And yeah, I recall them being basically Picard focused one.
