something like this: mainstream will claim, is true now, but they will claim is fake later and attempt to paint all the rightwings as gullible. meanwhile, everyone will talk about this and will not talk about democrats having any grasp on the country or reality getting crushed in the ballots, plus if in the future someone will make a claim left-pedos the story of the fake diaries will be brought up to poison the well and shut down the discussion.

FBI gave it to Veritas, hoping they'd run with it, so they could be discredited. When they were too smart to fall for it, the FBI raided them.
