It never was about controlling the virus as much as it is about seeing who is the liberals and whom isn't. Liberals will automatically NOT question the government and they collect the data as part of the hidden social credit system they will openly implant. The liberals will wear their masks WHEN ALONE and IN THEIR CAR which shows the government knows EXACTLY what they are pushing for!
This is how they operate in China they have something like 'A million butterflies' or something where they allow people to come out in the open once every so often to voice their concerns and vote then they make sure their body parts are sold or harvested for 'science purposes'.
They got REALLY scared when Trump turned on them and Trump being a playboy didn't really know how to fight back but had some good ideas. He didn't listen to advice so he screwed himself essentially by hiring the wrong people to protect him.
Well that and a security blanket for people unfamiliar with the science, and made confused by the mixed signals coming from their dear leaders. They have no idea how viruses work. They just want to be safe.

I liked Trump, I wished he did more, he wasted the first 2 years but I do not blame him for it. I do not think he expected the level of corruption that is in DC, especially coming from Republicans. By the time he figured out how things are it was to late. As for the covid vaccine, I'm sure he thought it was safe, I doubt any ill intent. If he was elected he would have fought vaccine mandates at every step.
The vaccine would have been a moderate success if they just vaccinated the elderly and people with significant comorbidities. Even using their own data if they only vaccinated people 60+ it would save 97% as many lives as vaccinating everyone, and we'd probably still have alpha as the dominate strain instead of delta and probably wouldn't have had the summer spike in cases. Funny how the "party of science" thinks you can radically change the environment a virus spreads in without changing the virus.
The UK Surveillance Data would suggest it does make it less likely you'll die (although that seems to drop rapidly, in the time between the last to reports it dropped from 90%ish less likely to die to 85%ish, which written that way doesn't seem that big of a difference but it's a 50% jump in deaths among the vaccinated). I don't suspect this data is faked because it is very unflattering to the vaccine overall; the latest data showed more cases in the vaccinated per 100,000 in almost every age group.
And besides it's not shilling questioning him. I have a right to want to know as at that time it awas either HIM or Hillary and we all know or should know how things would be WITH HER in power. Most of us would not be online.

The vaccines were already in development before Trump's SOTU speech in January 2020. Trump may have come up the the "Operation Warp Speed" name, but the vaccines were going to be rolled out when they were rolled out regardless of anything Trump said or did.
The vaccines were in development, but they were going to wait for a year or two before announcing they were ready. Usually it takes a long time for FDA emergency authorization to go through. "Operation Warp Speed" isn't just a name.
I can elaborate on some half-substantiated conspiracies beyond that regarding the vaccine development and original lockdown plans, but you've probably already heard them and this is enough.
Says who? There was massive pressure (not just from Trump) to get one out asap, and the financial reward for being first was enormous. Especially if you get one out a full year before anyone else.
I just don't buy the idea that without Trump pushing it would have been any different. That's my personal opinion and obviously neither of us can prove the other wrong.
