That thing he's doing with his arms is something I've seen a lot of. ...I wouldn't normally expect him to be so upright, though. Honestly makes me wonder if he's wearing something to brace his spine. Or, as you say, it could be drugs. He's almost comically upright, now that I look at him. Could be tense as his brain works overtime trying to process Cooper's words.
I don't think he's going to die before the end of his term - possibly not even this decade. But I'll be surprised if he's in office all the way to end. I'll be stunned if he runs for a second term. I'd guesstimate he's 4-6 years from not being able to hold a fork and needing someone to wipe his ass, and 6-15 years from death.

I mean, that's what they did for FDR. FDR used to shuffle left and right to move his legs forward with the help of another man. The steel brace couldn't move in a normal gate because it locked his legs in place, and bending at the knees was impossible.
With modern metallurgy and plastics (and the huge advancements in medical technology thanks to government research repairing soldier's blown off limbs and eyes), I wouldn't be surprised if there is some kind of advanced, thin, exoskeleton that has been made for him to help him walk without a walker. Falling over could genuinely kill him.

It can also be extremely fast. Look at what happened with Reagan. He was pretty witty and coherent before he took office. Reports are that he was basically where Biden is at now by the time he was in his 7th year. They held Reagan together with duct tape for 2 years, they held Wilson together for 2 years and he was basically dead. They can hold Biden together until January of 2023 even if Joe physically dies.
Again, incredibly impressive technology and medicine, but at some point we have truly descended into "Weekend at Bernie's"
Same.

Ugh. I just want it to hurry up and take the guy. I'll echo Gizortnik calling it elder abuse what they're putting him through.

Precisely why I thought of it.
