Just a new target for the SJWs to focus on. I'm not optimistic. Most foreigners I met in Japan were stupid college leftists. (not counting military expats) They are the ones learning the language and going into international companies and influencing how their country relates to the west.
There's nobody actively encouraging the right-wing, which is aging up, while NHK promotes trannies. Sony is the canary in the coalmine.EDIT: Apparently there's a Proud Boys chapter in Japan! That's something.

Just dropped today, so I doubt it. However, I know that a few months ago there was stuff about how Demon Slayer, the Manga, outsold the entire comics industry. This is the new one about how just the Merch outsells it, on top of the Manga.
Which when combined shows just how much US Comics are getting crushed by Manga. Also consider that the vast majority of US Comic merch is for classic versions of the characters, or MCU related versions.
It jumped into the top 20 best selling comics of all time from nothing, crazy really.
