Most people just don't care, they see "007" and just buy the ticket. It will take years before the populace becomes aware of what is going on. By then, it will be too late of course.
Most people do not know of any propaganda. My wife wanted to go see it cause she likes James Bond movies. She had no idea about the black 007 or becoming the James Bond of the MeToo era.
And looking at Critical Drinker review it looks like they toned the movie down, no tampon scene and they did not get the black chick to dominate Bond as it was appearing in the first trailer.
It was allegedly some rumors going about that when some writer took over they were going to add some feminist bullshit to it. I think. I'm trying to remember where I read this from as well lol
They wanted to show the new 007 black agent as having women issues and they wanted a scene where she throws a tampon in the bin. Something about making her more relatable.
I guess they scrap that idea, as I said I think they removed and reshot a lot of scenes once they realized what a fucking mess the movie was initially. I understand that now is actually passable.
Take note of what the “critics” are saying and pushing. Almost any accolade is of Ana De Armas and the new black woman Bond. It’s “strong” wahmen squealing. Rotten Tomatoes isn’t even allowing viewer scores yet. This is just fluff for the new female bond series, but at this point the male writing in any movies is so painfully bad that it seems intentional.
In context, that is the laziest bullshit I've seen in weeks.
You have completely failed to learn the lesson of Prelude to Axanar, which is that a determined group of average Joes can match the production quality of top studios with consumer products. The only thing limiting people is their attachment to existing intellectual property.
With all seriousness, I think one of, if not the, worst mistake of western civilization was the invention of copyright. It was a mistake, it should never have been invented, the very concept of intellectual property should never have crossed the line into fiction and music and art. It should have remained in the realm of patents and trademarks and the creative endeavors should have been left on the level of minstrelsy in the eyes of the law.
Intellectual property is a good thing when it is limited to the ownership of the individual. What we have now is a bastardized form thanks to companies like Disney and politicians.
Good luck getting any known actors to be in it. Good luck not getting thrown into a MeToo case by the actresses you get because the movie wasn't propagandist enough. Good luck getting it into cinemas for people to actually see.
TI, I don't get you. Your perception of how shit works (can work, does work, should work) is stubbornly rooted in how the world worked in the 90's.
You remind me of a number of people I know. Rather than tell all their stories I will clump them together and say that they all say they have something they want to do, but they aren't doing their thing because they're missing some component they're convinced they need (typically money).
It's basically a mindset that actively goes looking for excuses to not try, and it pisses me off to no end.
I don't mind people who are lazy and have no ambition. Because at least they're honestly living the life they chose. But I hate cope. I absolutely despise cope and people who practice it because in my eyes they're trying to claim virtue on the basis of having dreams. Frankly it's even more disgusting to me than the SJWs that claim virtue on the basis of immutables. At least their BS is measurable.
Well you are the minority. Most people derive their entire moral code and base values from mass media and popular consumer culture. They are fully programmed and conditioned since birth. This is just the natural next step in the evolution of the Progressive Death Cult propaganda.
Even Critical Drinker said that it wasnt that bad for a Bond film and that most of the SJW / feminist bullshit that was being pushed in articles and in the trailers is no where near as bad in the film... id argue being present at all is an issue thought

I've been spoiling it to everyone who will listen to try and put a small dent in their earnings.
I do not want this movie to do well. Phoebe Waller-Bridge's writing career needs to die.

My guess is that they did a lot of reshoots.

If it helps, because of all the delays and rescheduling they need Marvel numbers just to break even
I've also heard this.

It is. They're trying to leverage the free market by producing garbage and claiming people didn't like it because it had men in it.
The worst part is, we can't counter it.
If we boycott, they can claim it.
If we don't, we fund the enemy.

The correct term you're looking for is weaponized autism.
Autism is certainly involved if shit like Eragon and The Golden Compass can get made.
The right doesn't seem to appreciate telling STORIES, and when they do bother it's shit like The Passion of the Christ.
You'd think conservatives and libertarians would be able to churn out stuff like The Expanse left and right but nope nope nope.
The right has told plenty of stories, their kids now own the rights and sell it to leftists to warp the messages.
Fuck fandom.
Seriously, fuck fandom.

You're still thinking about this in old terms.

I don't wish to make a movie. That would require working with women for extended periods, which is something I'd rather avoid.
I'm not sure why you think I'm stuck in the 90s. How do you compete with Hollywood without getting into their territory?
You could make an online series or a movie for streaming, but both of those methods also rely on the collaboration of enemy leaders.
No, they don't. Jesus, you're like my boss who thinks REST is newfangled bleeding edge and that we should stick with EJBs.
Put your series on YouTube - working with Google.
Host your own site - no one will see it.
Go to a streaming platform - Netflix and Amazon will be your options.
Which is why it was shot down.
Now, imagine if they had used their talents to produce something entirely new.
That is some simp shit right there. What a ridiculous premise.
But impressive work, to be fair.

With allies like that, who needs enemies.
